In Boehringer Ingelheim Promeco one of our top concerns is to minimize the environmental impact of our activities, aware of our responsibility towards our employees, customers and the environment.

Our manufacturing facilities and processes are constantly optimized. Likewise, all the possible alternatives for product packages are examined in order to reduce their volume and to recover materials through recycling.

The storage of raw materials and finished products is performed in modern warehouses, built under strict security standards, thus reducing the potential risks for fires, leaks and theft. But the responsibility of our operations goes beyond the door of our warehouses and, therefore, the company is committed to assuring proper product transportation to and from its supply and distribution centers.

We are firmly convinced of a responsible attitude towards our customers, employees and the overall society and we constantly work to reduce the amount of waste and emissions released in the environment.

Likewise, the water used in our manufacturing processes is especially treated to be used to irrigate the 39,859 square meters of green areas of the company.

We participate in the preservation and efficient use of natural resources placing this responsibility above our business interests.
